∫ Remove the Battery Grip from the digital camera

• Turn off the digital camera, take out the battery, and then rotate the

attachment screw in the direction opposite to attaching it.

Inserting/Removing the Battery

• Always use genuine Panasonic batteries (DMW-BLJ31: optional).

• If you use other batteries, we cannot guarantee the quality of this product.

• Use the battery after charging.

• The Battery Grip can be used when the battery is inserted in either the

digital camera or the Battery Grip.

• Turn off the digital camera and confirm that the digital camera is not

charging.

1 Turn the release lever of the

Battery Grip toward [OPEN],

and open the battery door.

2 Taking care of the orientation,

insert securely all the way

until you hear locking, and

confirm that the B lever is

hooked to the battery.

• When removing the battery, push the

B lever toward the arrow and pull

out the battery.

3 Close the battery door and

turn the release lever toward

[LOCK].

•

When charging with the digital camera with the Battery Grip attached, you can

charge the battery within the Battery Grip. For information about charging using

the digital camera, refer to the operating instructions for the digital camera.

•

When using the digital camera without the battery inserted, do not take out the

battery in the Battery Grip. Otherwise, the digital camera will turn off.


