Internet-Based Management

You can control the printer remotely, using a standard web browser. No

special software or hardware is necessary — simply type the printer's IP

address into your browser, and the machine status and toner levels can

be viewed on your computer screen. Plus, the printer can email you if

your printer has an error, is out of paper, or even when consumables

need replacement.

Remote Printing

Remote users have the ability to use the Internet as an efficient way to

send print jobs directly to the printer using the printer's email-print feature.

And with its IPP compatibility, users connected via an Intranet or VPN can

also print from any application directly to the printer. Using these features,

you can enhance organizational efficiency and workflow, without added

cost or resources.

Web Administrative Tool

When two or more printers, including various types of

printers, are attached to the network, this tool allows

network administrators to check each printer's settings

and obtain real-time status such as paper conditions,

remaining toner and much more without ever having to

leave their desks.

The rated life expectancy of each consumable is based on printing under specific

operating conditions such as page coverage for a particular page size (5% coverage per color at 600 x 600 dpi

resolution on letter size paper). The actual consumable’s life will vary depending on its use and other printing variables

including page coverage, page size, media type, print resolution, continuous or intermittent printing, number of color

planes, ambient temperature and humidity.

Additional memory is recommended to insure 1,200 x 1,200 dpi operation regardless of image size, paper size and in

duplex mode. *
