Chapter 1 Basic Menu Features

Image Sharpness

The original can be copied by blurring or sharpening the outline of the image.

Select “Sharpness”.

z To display this screen, refer to step 1 of

Background (see page 24).

Adjust the sharpness with “Lower” or

“Higher”, and then select “OK”.

z Screen will return to step 1.

Select “OK”, and then proceed to steps 6 to

8 of Quality Adjusting (see page 22).

Sharpened

Lower Each time it is selected, the

sharpness level decreases by

1 grade lower, and the image

outline is blurred.

Higher Each time it is selected, the

sharpness level increases by 1

grade higher, and the image

outline is sharpened.
