#159 Before you dispose of, transfer or return the product, activate
this feature to reset all programmable features and to delete all
data stored in memory.
• The following items will be deleted.

Beep sound #165 To set the beep sounds and keytones. If you wish to hear
confirmation/error beep sounds and keytones, activate this
feature.
Note
• Even if this feature is deactivated, the unit beeps in some
cases. For example:
– the front cover is opened.

#174 To set the unit to alert you with a beeping sound after a print job
is finished.

• This setting is valid for the following:
– PC printing
– Automatic report/list printing during fax transmission

– Printing received faxes ( )
• When a printing error occurs, the unit will beep the error
beep instead of this beep, even if this feature is activated.
