Storage
Your phone can store apps and data in two different storage areas.
Storage area Description Main contents
Internal storage An area of the phone’s internal memory
that is not visible when the phone is
connected to a computer.
If you reset the phone, the contents of
the internal storage are deleted.

USB storage An area of the phone’s internal memory
that is visible when the phone is
connected to a computer, allowing you
to manually copy data to and from your
phone and the computer.
If you reset the phone, you have the
option to retain or delete the contents of
the USB storage.

phone’s [Camera] app
Music and podcasts
Customised ringtones
Data you have copied to the phone
from a computer (page 69)
Data you have backed up with the
[USB storage backup] feature
(page 72)
Downloaded data
Apps that you have moved from the
internal storage
Note
Some apps may refer to the phone’s USB storage as “SD card”. In this case selecting “SD card” will
select the USB storage.
Confirming available storage capacity
1. From the Home screen, tap
® [Settings].
2. Tap [Storage].
Stereo headset
You can use the included stereo headset to answer and end calls, talk on the phone, listen to music and
videos, etc.
To answer an incoming call, press the headset button.
To reject an incoming call, or to end the current call, press and hold the headset button for about a
second.
To stop and start music playback while listening to music, press the headset button.
