Camera

Using the Camera
For the camera position and functions, refer to “Description of Parts”.
N O T E
n When the camera is in use, the Camera Indicator lights up. (Even if [Concealed Mode] is set to [Enabled] and [LED] to [OFF], the cam-
era indicator cannot be turned off.)
n When the computer is moved from hot and humid environment to low temperature environment, dew condensation may form on the
lens. This is not a malfunction. Wait until the lens dries out.
About the Ambient Light Sensor
The ambient light sensor is used to adjust the display screen brightness automatically.
To configure the automaticadjustment function, proceed as follows.
1.
Click (Start) - (Settings) - [System] - [Display].
2. Add the check mark to [Change brightness automatically when lighting changes] under “Brightness and color”.
N O T E
n When using the “Panasonic PC Day Night Mode Utility”, do not use the automatic adjustment function.
Panasonic PC Camera Utility
The PanasonicPC Camera Utility can be used to shoot photos and videos.
When you use pictures and videos recorded using this utility at Web conferences, or other services, use specialized applications accordingly.
N O T E
n If you use this utility and other multi-media software at the same time, an error may occur. Close all multi-media software including
this utility and restart this utility.
n If an error message appears and nothing is displayed, restart this utility.
n When the computer has resumed from sleep and hibernation, an error may appear and the connection with the camera device may be
lost. If this occurs, restart this utility.
n Panasonic PC Camera Utility only with the built-in camera. It does not support a camera connected to the computer.
Starting up
1.
Click (Start) - (Panasonic PC Camera Utility).
The PanasonicPC Camera Utility starts up, and the following screen isdisplayed.
When the utility is running, do not remove or insert audio devices (such as microphones and speakers). Also, do not enable or disable
such devices.
