When connecting a smartphone to this unit as a
Wireless Sub Camera for the first time (To use the
Wireless Multi-Camera function)
≥ The default setting for [Direct Connection Password] is [OFF].
≥ The QR code is not displayed when [Direct Connection Password] (l 200) is set to [OFF].
Refer to “Selecting this unit’s SSID on the smartphone to set up a connection”.
≥ Up to three smartphones can be connected simultaneously.
≥ You cannot register one smartphone as multiple Wireless Sub Cameras.
3 Turn on the Wi-Fi function in the smartphone’s setup menu.
≥ When [Direct Connection Password] is set to [OFF]
Proceed to the “When [Direct Connection Password] is set to [OFF]”. (l 213)
≥ When [Direct Connection Password] is set to [ON]
Proceed to the “When [Direct Connection Password] is set to [ON]”. (l 213)
Selecting this unit’s SSID on the smartphone to set up a connection
1 Press Wi-Fi button on this unit and touch
[Multi Camera].
2 Touch [Unregistered] to register the
smartphone to be connected.
≥ Touching [Unregistered] will start a Wi-Fi connection.
