≥ Depending on the recording condition or sound quality, the desired effect may not be achieved.
≥ The option is set to [Auto] when an external microphone is connected.
≥ (When [Music] or [Festival] is set)
The volume of the recorded sounds may be lower than that of the sounds recorded with [Auto].
≥ (When [Speech] or [Nature] is set)
Sounds recorded with these effects are less realistic than those recorded with [SURROUND] or
[STEREO MIC] in [MIC SETUP].
You can switch the channel number setting of the built-in microphone.
≥ Set [REC FORMAT] to [AVCHD]. (l 91)
≥ [2ch] will be selected in the following cases:
j When [REC FORMAT] is set to a setting other than [AVCHD]
j When using an external microphone
[SURROUND]/[STEREO]:
Records sounds with the setting of [MIC SETUP] ([SURROUND] or
[STEREO MIC]).
[MONO]: Records sounds from all directions without setting specific directivity.
[5.1ch/2ch]
: [RECORD SETUP] # [5.1ch/2ch] # desired setting
[5.1ch]: Records with the 5.1ch.
[2ch]: Records with the 2ch.
