≥ If the recording/playback button is pressed during motion picture recording, the recording 
will stop and this unit will be switched to Playback Mode.
≥ To change the recording format, change the 
[REC FORMAT] or [REC MODE]. (l 77)
≥ Still pictures can be recorded while recording the motion picture. (l 28)
≥ The images recorded between pressing the recording start/stop button to start recording and 
pressing it again to pause recording become one scene.
≥ In the following cases, a scene is divided automatically. (The recording will continue)
j When [REC MODE] of the scene is set to [1080/28M], [720] or [iFrame] and the recording time 
of the scene exceeds approximately 20 minutes
j When [REC MODE] of the scene is set to [1080/50M] and the recording time of the scene 
exceeds approximately 10 minutes
≥ While recording is in progress, the recording will not stop even if the LCD monitor is closed.
≥ Put the unit in Pause mode when connecting or disconnecting an external microphone with the 
MIC terminal.
≥ Please refer to page 220 about approximate recordable time.
