≥ The larger the digital zoom magnification, the more the image quality is degraded.

≥ This function cannot be used in Still Picture Recording Mode.

Switch the recording format of motion picture.

≥ This function’s default setting is [AVCHD] mode.

Switch the picture quality and recording format of the motion pictures to record. The recording

formats that can be set change according to [REC FORMAT] setting.

≥ When [REC FORMAT] is set to [AVCHD]

≥ When [REC FORMAT] is set to [MP4/iFrame]

*1 You can record motion pictures in 1080/50p (1920k1080/50 progressive), the best AVCHD

picture quality for this unit.

*2 [1080/50M]/[1080/28M] and [720] are recording modes suitable for playing back or editing on a

PC.

*3 [iFrame] is a format suitable for Mac (iMovie etc.). It is recommended for when using a Mac.

Set the recording format to 1080/50i.

[1080/50p]

: Set the recording format to 1080/50p.

: Set the recording format to 1080/50p (50 Mbps).

: Set the recording format to 1080/50p (28 Mbps).

: Set the recording format to 720/25p.

[iFrame]

: Set the recording format to iFrame.
