Operating Instructions Safety Instructions This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction by a person responsible for their safety concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Oven Light When it becomes necessary to replace the oven light, please consult your dealer. Cooking Times The cooking times given in the cookbook are approximate. The cooking time depends on the condition, temperature, amount of food and on the type of cookware. Begin with the minimum cooking time to help prevent overcooking. If the food is not sufficiently cooked you can always cook it for a little longer.
Important Safety Instructions Utensils/Foil Do not heat any closed cans or bottles because they might explode. Metal containers or dishes with metallic trim should not be used during microwave cooking. Sparking will occur. If you use any aluminium foil, meat spikes or metalware, the distance between them and the oven walls and door should be at least 2 cm to prevent sparking.

The enamel shelf is for cooking on CONVECTION or GRILL mode only. Do not use on MICROWAVE or COMBINATION modes. Do not use the enamel shelf in shelf position 4 on grill only mode. 2. English User Settings After plugging in the oven you will be prompted to select a language and to set the time. Access the user settings menu to change the following settings. Language These models have a unique function “Word Prompting” which guides you through the operation of your oven.
User Settings Setting the clock The clock can be set by accessing the user settings. Touch user settings key to access the user settings menu. Select “TIME’ using the up and down keys. Set the time by tapping up and down keys. Touch Stop/Start. Touch Home key. NOTE The clock will keep the time of day as long as the oven is plugged in and electricity is supplied.
English User Settings Brightness The brightness of the blue and white display icons can be changed independently. Touch user settings key to access the user settings menu. Select “BLUE” or “WHITE” by tapping the up and down keys. Select desired brightness setting. Touch Stop/ Start. Touch Home key. Demo mode This mode is designed for retail store display. Compact ＯＶＥＮ(Non Steam) Touch user settings key to access the user settings menu. Select “DEMO” by tapping the up and down keys.
Microwave Cooking and Defrosting There are 6 different microwave power levels available (see the chart below). Tap Microwave. English Grilling There are 3 different Grill settings available. Key Taps Tap Grill key once, twice or three times to select the desired grill power. Display Power Level 1 tap Grill 1 (high) 2 taps Grill 2 (medium) 3 taps Grill 3 (low) After preheating, place the food in the oven. Touch Start to preheat. A “P” will appear in the display window. When the oven is preheated the oven will beep and the “P” will flash. Then open the door and place the food inside.
Grilling NOTE Never cover foods when grilling. The grill will only operate with the oven door closed. Most foods require turning halfway through cooking. When turning food, open oven door and CAREFULLY remove wire shelf using oven gloves. After turning, return food to the oven and close door. After closing oven door, touch Stop/Start. The oven display will continue to count down the remaining grilling time.
English Fan Grill Cooking This key offers a choice of fan grill temperatures, 100 - 180 °C. For quick selection of the most commonly used cooking temperatures, the temperatures start at 150 °C and count up to 180 °C in 5 °C increments. After preheating, place the food in the oven. Tap Fan Grill. Set the desired temperature by tapping the up and down keys. Select the cooking time by tapping up and down keys (up to 9 hours). Touch Stop/Start to preheat. A “P” will appear in the display window.
Fan Grill Cooking NOTE When the selected cooking time is less than one hour, the time counts down second by second. When the selected cooking time is over one hour, the time counts down minute by minute until only “1H 00” (1 hour) remains. The display then indicates minutes and seconds and counts down second by second. You can change the cooking time during cooking if required to a maximum of 10 minutes. Tap up and down keys to increase or decrease the cooking time.
English Convection Cooking This key offers a choice of convection temperatures, 40 °C and 100 - 230 °C. For quick selection of the most commonly used cooking temperatures, the temperatures start at 150 °C and count up to 230 °C in 5 °C increments then 40 °C (only for Convection mode) and 100 °C. Tap Convection key. Set the desired convection temperature by tapping the up and down keys. After preheating, place the food in the oven. Touch Stop/Start to preheat. A “P” will appear in the display window.
Convection Cooking NOTE on Preheating Do not open the door during preheating. After preheating 3 beeps will be heard and the “P” will flash in the display window. If the oven door is not opened after preheating, the oven will maintain the selected temperature. If the door is not opened within 30 minutes of starting preheating, preheating will end. If you want to cook without preheating, after selecting the desired temperature, set the cooking time then touch Stop/Start.
English Combination Cooking There are 5 combination settings; 1) Grill + Microwave, 2) Grill + Convection, 3) Convection + Microwave, 4) Grill + Convection + Microwave, 5) Fan Grill + Microwave. 1000 W Microwave power level is not available in Combination cooking. This would not be useful in normal use (the food would be cooked before browning is achieved). 270 W Defrost can not be set in combination.
Combination Cooking NOTE on preheating The oven can be preheated in Combination mode with Convection or Grill/ Convection cooking. Touch Stop/Start before setting the cooking time and follow the NOTE ON PREHEATING on page 26. NO MICROWAVES ARE EMITTED DURING COMBINATION PREHEATING. NOTE Combination modes are not available with convection 40 °C. Preheating is not available for Grill + Microwave mode. When the selected cooking time is less than one hour, the time counts down second by second.
English Turbo Cook The oven can be programmed to cook or reheat food more efficiently by using the Turbo Cook function to support convection, grill, fan grill and grill + convection cooking. Selecting Turbo Cook after any of these cooking modes will simultaneously add 300 W microwave power to reduce cooking time. and/or + Touch Turbo Cook and/or Select the cooking time by tapping up and down keys. Touch Stop/Start. The cooking program will start and the time in the display will count down.
Turbo Cook NOTE Turbo Cook is not available with Convection 40 °C Preheat is not available with Turbo Cook. You can change the cooking time during cooking if required to a maximum of 10 minutes. Tap up and down keys to increase or decrease the cooking time. Touch and hold the up or down key to increase or decrease time more quickly. Tapping down to zero will end cooking.
English Using the Timer Delay start cooking By using the Timer, you are able to program Delay start cooking. example Touch Timer. Set the delay time by tapping the up and down keys (up to 9 hours). Set the desired cooking program and cooking time. Touch Stop/Start NOTE 1. Three stage cooking can be programmed including Delay start cooking. 2. If the programmed delay time exceeds one hour, the time will count down in units of minutes.
Multi-Stage Cooking 2 or 3 stage cooking example Select desired Microwave power level. Set the cooking time. Select desired Microwave power level. Set the cooking time. Touch Stop/Start. example To DEFROST (270 W) for 2 minutes and cook food on MAX (1000 W) power for 3 minutes. Select Microwave Set the cooking defrost power (270 W). time to 2 minutes. English Memory Using the memory function This feature allows you to pre-program your oven for a frequently used reheating or cooking task. You are able to pre-program your oven for a specific power level and time that is convenient for you. You can only pre-program one memory task with this oven. To set a memory program Set the desired cooking program. Touch and hold M+ to store the cooking program. A beep will sound to confirm the program has been stored.
Defrosting Guidelines The biggest problem when defrosting food in a microwave is getting the inside defrosted before the outside starts to cook. For this reason Panasonic have made the defrosting on the oven CYCLIC DEFROST, just select the 270 W power level and set the required time. The oven then divides this time into 8 stages. These stages alternate between defrosting (total of 4) and standing (total of 4).
English Turbo Defrost With this feature you can defrost frozen food according to the weight. For quick selection, the weight starts from the most commonly used weight for each program. Select the cooking weight by tapping the up and down keys. Select the desired Turbo Defrost program. Touch Stop/Start. Questions and Answers Q: Why won’t my oven turn on? A: When the oven does not turn on, check the following: 1. Is the oven plugged in securely? Remove the plug from the outlet, wait 10 seconds and reinsert. 2. Check the circuit breaker and the fuse. Reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse if it is tripped or blown. 3. If the circuit breaker or fuse is all right, plug another appliance into the outlet. If the other appliance works, there probably is a problem with the oven.
Q “D” appears or a dot blinks in the display and the oven does not cook. Why? A: The oven has been programmed in DEMO MODE. This mode is designed for retail store display. To de-activate demo mode see page 19. English Questions and Answers Q. The keys do not respond. The display is frozen. A: Ensure the control panel is clean. Open and close the door to re-set the control panel. Q. The word prompt has disappeared on my display? A: See user settings page 17 to re-activate the word prompt.

Pour retourner des aliments, ouvrez la porte du four, et tirer AVEC PRÉCAUTION la grille métallique à l'aide de gants à four. Après avoir retourné les aliments, remettez-les dans le four et fermez la porte. Une fois la porte fermée, appuyez sur Arrêt/Marche.
Cuisson au gril avec ventilateur Cette touche propose un choix de températures de cuisson en mode gril avec ventilateur : de 100 à 180 °C. Pour accélérer la sélection des températures de cuisson les plus fréquemment utilisées, les températures proposées commencent à 150 °C et vont jusqu'à 180 °C, par tranches de 5. Appuyez sur Ventilateur du gril. Réglez la température souhaitée en exerçant des pressions sur les touches ascendante et descendante.
Cuisson au gril avec ventilateur REMARQUE Si le temps de cuisson sélectionné est inférieur à une heure, le compte à rebours se fait seconde par seconde. Si le temps de cuisson sélectionné est supérieur à une heure, le compte à rebours se fait minute par minute jusqu'à l'affichage stable de « 1 H 00 ». L'affichage indique alors les minutes et les secondes, et le compte à rebours reprend de seconde en seconde.
Cuisson en mode convection Cette touche propose un choix de températures de convection : 40 °C et 100-230 °C. Pour accélérer la sélection des températures de cuisson les plus fréquemment utilisées, les températures proposées commencent à 150 °C et vont jusqu'à 230 °C, par tranches de 5 puis de 40 (uniquement en mode Convection) et de 100 °C. Cuisson en mode convection REMARQUE sur le Préchauffage N'ouvrez pas la porte pendant le préchauffage. Dès la fin du préchauffage, 3 bips sont émis et le « P » clignote dans la fenêtre d'affichage. Si la porte du four n'est pas fermée après le préchauffage, le four conservera néanmoins la température sélectionnée. Si la porte n'est pas ouverte dans un délai de 30 minutes après le début du préchauffage, celui-ci s'interrompt.
Cuisson combinée Il y a 5 réglages en combinaison : 1) Gril + Micro-ondes, 2) Gril + Convection, 3) Convection +Micro-ondes, 4) Gril + Convection + Micro-ondes, 5) Gril avec ventilateur + Micro-ondes. Le niveau de puissance de 1 000 W pour le micro-ondes n'est pas disponible pour la cuisson en mode Combinaison. Ce ne serait pas utile pour une utilisation normale (les aliments seraient cuits avant de dorer). La décongélation à 270 W ne peut pas faire partie d'un réglage en combinaison.
Cuisson combinée REMARQUE sur le Préchauffage Le four peut être préchauffé en mode Combinaison avec Convection ou Gril/ Convection. Appuyez sue Arrêt/Marche avant de régler le temps de cuisson et conformez- vous à la REMARQUE SUR LE PRÉCHAUFFAGE, page 26. AUCUNE MICRO-ONDE N'EST ÉMISE PENDANT LE PRÉCHAUFFAGE EN MODE COMBINAISON. REMARQUE Les modes en Combinaison ne sont pas disponibles en convection à 40 °C. Le préchauffage n'est pas disponible en mode Gril + Micro-ondes.
Cuisson turbo Le four peut être programmé de façon à cuire ou à réchauffer des aliments plus efficacement en utilisant la fonction Cuisson turbo à l'appui des modes Convection, Gril, Gril avec ventilateur et Gril + Convection. La sélection de Cuisson turbo après n'importe lequel de ces modes de cuisson ajoutera en même temps 300 W de puissance micro-ondes qui réduira le temps de cuisson.
Cuisson turbo REMARQUE La cuisson turbo n'est pas disponible en mode Convection à 40 °C. Le préchauffage n'est pas disponible avec la cuisson turbo. Questions et réponses Q. Pourquoi mon four ne se met-il pas en marche ? R : Si le four ne se met pas en marche, procédez aux vérifications suivantes : 1. Le branchement du four est-il sécurisé ? Débranchez la prise, attendez 10 secondes et réinsérez-la. 2. Vérifiez l'état du coupe-circuit et du fusible. Réglez de nouveau le coupe circuit ou remettez le fusible en place s'il a sauté ou fondu. 3. Si le coupe-circuit ou le fusible ne présentent pas d'anomalie, branchez un autre appareil dans la prise.

Prenez soin de votre four 1. Mettre le four en position Arrêt avant de le nettoyer. 2. Nettoyez avec un soin égal l'intérieur du four, les joints de porte et les zones environnantes. Si des aliments qui ont débordé ou des liquides répandus adhèrent aux parois du four, à sa base, aux joints de porte et aux zones environnantes, essuyez avec un chiffon humide. Vous pouvez utiliser un détergent doux s'il y a beaucoup de saleté. L'utilisation de détergents corrosifs ou abrasifs est déconseillée.

Installation de l’appareil Installation Si l'appareil est déposé sur du placage ou une autre finition pour meubles, il faut les traiter avec une colle résistante à la chaleur (100 °C).
