R When set to "Auto", the language settings of the PBX will be used.
R The display language of both the handset and PBX can be selected, and both should be set to the
same language.
R The handset will restart after changing the Display Language.
Changing the Handset Phone Number Display
You can change the display of the handset’s phone number when the handset is in standby mode.
1. Press or the [CENTRE] navigation key.
2. Select "Setting Handset" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press .
3. Select "Display Option" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press .
4. Select "Standby Display" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press
.
5. Press [ ] or [ ] to select the desired item, and then press .

R By default, "Handset Number" is selected.

Editing the Names of the Flexible Keys
You can edit a name for each Flexible Key of the handset.
1. Press or the [CENTRE] navigation key.
2. Select "Setting Handset" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press .
3. Select "Key Option" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press .
4. Press [ ] or [ ] to select "Flex Key Name" and then press .
5. Press [
] or [ ] to select the desired base (Base 1–4), and then press .
6. Select the desired flexible key by pressing the arrow keys, and then press .
7. Enter a name (max. 12 characters), and then press .

Adjusting the Ringer Volume
1. Press or the [CENTRE] navigation key.
2. Select "Ringer Volume" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press .
3. Press [ ] or [ ] to select the desired setting (Step Up, Step Down, Level 1–6, Off), and then press
.
