and vice versa.

– To set the base unit LCD display contrast, see feature #39 on page 42.
*3 When the ringer volume is turned OFF, is displayed and the cordless handset does not ring for outside calls.
However even when the ringer volume is set to OFF, the cordless handset rings:
– at the low level for alarm (page 46) and intercom calls (page 48)
– at the high level for paging (page 48)
*4 If you select one of the melody ringer tones, the ringer tone continues to play for several seconds even if the
caller has already hung up. You may either hear a dial tone or no one on the line when you answer the call.
