7.2.2 Cordless handset setup
Alarm
You can set one of 2 different alarm options (once or
daily) at a time for each cordless handset. An alarm
sounds at the set time for 3 minutes.
Important:
R Set the date and time beforehand (page 19).

“Off”
Turns alarm OFF. Press
again, then press
M N to exit.
“Once”
An alarm sounds once at the set time. Enter the
desired date and month. A
“Daily”
An alarm sounds daily at the set time.

R We recommend selecting a different ringer tone
to the one used for outside calls.

R When the alarm is set, is displayed.
Note:
R You can skip to step 4 by pressing M N in standby
mode.
R To stop the alarm, press any dial key or place the
cordless handset on the base unit or charger.
R When the cordless handset is in use, the alarm will
not sound until the cordless handset is in standby
mode.
R If you select “Once”, the setting changes to “Off”
after the alarm sounds.

R When the language selection is displayed after
installing the batteries for the first time,
perform step 5.
