Arm the alarm system ( “Arming and disarming the alarm system”, Page 52).
R The sensor is not enabled for the current arm mode.
Change the settings for the current arm mode ( “Alarm system settings”, Page 53).
R The desired feature is not enabled.
Temperature alert (indoor cameras only) and sound alert (indoor camera only) do not function as
part of the alarm system. Make sure the desired feature is enabled ( “Temperature alert (indoor
cameras only)”, Page 72, “Sound alert (indoor cameras only)”, Page 73)
R The hub’s date and time setting is incorrect.
Adjust the date and time setting ( “[Time Adjustment] setting”, Page 110).
The glass break sensor makes false detections; battery life seems too short
R False detections may occur and battery life may be drastically reduced if devices that produce
continuous sound (TVs, music players or speakers, musical instruments, etc.) are located near the
sensor.
Move any such devices further away from the sensor, or re-locate the sensor.
Refer to the following after checking the general troubleshooting information described in “General
information”, Page 117.
[Device is in use.] is displayed
R Another user (i.e., mobile device) is already accessing the hub, the same screen, or the same feature.
Wait for the other user to finish and then try again.
I cannot control my thermostat using the app
R You added a thermostat to your account after you registered the account to the system.
Deregister your thermostats ( “Deregistering your thermostats”, Page 66) and then register them
again.
R The information for the thermostat that has been saved in the system is not correct.
Make sure the correct account information has been entered, and the correct location has been set
( “Device profiles for thermostats”, Page 107).
R Your account login information has changed.
If you have changed your account login information using the manufacturer’s app or web site, you
must deregister your thermostats ( “Deregistering your thermostats”, Page 66), and then register
them again using the updated account information.
R Your thermostat cannot connect to the Internet.
Refer to the operating instructions included with your thermostat or contact the thermostat’s
manufacturer.
R Your thermostat is not working properly
Refer to the operating instructions included with your thermostat or contact the thermostat’s
manufacturer.
Refer to the following after checking the general troubleshooting information described in “General
information”, Page 117.
[Device is in use.] is displayed
R Another user (i.e., mobile device) is already accessing the hub, the same screen, or the same feature.
Wait for the other user to finish and then try again.
[Failed] is displayed
R The smart plug is out of range of the hub.
Move the smart plug closer to the hub and try again.
R An error occurred while accessing the smart plug.
Check all connections and try again.
