Using the home screen
The [Home Network] app home screen is displayed when you start the app.
Connection mode
The message displayed at the top of the app’s home screen indicates the current connection mode.
– [Home Wi-Fi Connected] is displayed when your mobile device is connected to the hub while at
home (i.e., your mobile device is connected to the same wireless router as the hub).
– [Remotely Connected] is displayed when your mobile device is logged in to the system while away
from home (i.e., your mobile device is not connected to the same wireless router as the hub). In this
case, certain features and settings are unavailable.
If your mobile device is registered to multiple hubs
The name of the selected hub is displayed at the top of the home screen, and the color of this area
indicates the current connection mode.
– White letters on a green background: Your mobile device is connected to the hub while at home
(i.e., your mobile device is connected to the same wireless router as the hub).
