Keychain remote LED indicator
Off
Normal operation, or no battery power

Green [Disarm] mode selected (you pressed the disarm button), or you pressed
the smart button

Registration mode (you pressed and held )
Green and red Low battery
Orange Signal is being sent to the hub (you are pressing a button)
Red
[Arm: Away] mode selected (you pressed the arm button)

Keychain remote is out of range of the hub, or is not registered to a hub
*1 The LED lights for about 2 seconds after a button is pressed, then turns off. If the LED indicator does
not light when you press a button, the battery must be replaced.
*2 The LED indicator does not indicate the remote’s status if the sensor has not been registered.
Backup battery LED indicator
Off Battery is fully charged
Green Battery power is being consumed
Registration mode (you pressed and held )
Orange
Battery is charging

Red Backup battery is out of range of the hub, or is not registered to a hub
No battery power, or device error
*1 You can configure the backup battery so that its LED indicator does not light in this state. See
“Device profiles (device settings)”, Page 103.
Smart plug LED indicator
Off
No power, smart plug is off, or LED indicator is turned off

Registration mode
Red Smart plug is out of range of the hub, or is not registered to a hub
Connected electric device is drawing too much current or wattage

*1 You can configure the smart plug so that its LED indicator does not light in most states. See “Device
profiles (device settings)”, Page 103.
*2 In this case, the smart plug will turn off automatically. To turn the smart plug on again, disconnect it
from the power outlet, disconnect the connected electric device, and then connect it again.
