Registering your thermostats
Use this procedure to register your thermostats to the system.
Note:
R This feature requires third-party equipment and services.
R Confirm the following before you begin.
Make sure you have created an online account for your thermostats
Make sure your thermostats have been configured to connect to your home network
R For details about connecting your thermostats to your home network, accessing the thermostat’s
settings, or accessing your online account, refer to the operating instructions included with your
thermostat or contact the thermostat’s manufacturer.
R For a list of compatible thermostats, see “Compatible Honeywell thermostats”, Page 65.
1 From the [Home Network] app home screen, tap [Settings].
2 Tap [Device Registration].
3 Tap [Registration].
4 Tap [Thermostat] ® [OK].
5 Follow the on-screen prompts and sign in to the online account associated with your thermostats.
6 Select the location of the desired thermostat and then tap [OK].
R Only one location can be registered to the hub. All compatible thermostats at that location can be
controlled by the system.
R You can change these settings later if necessary. See “Device profiles for thermostats”,
Page 107.
Deregistering your thermostats
1 From the [Home Network] app home screen, tap [Settings].
2 Tap [Device Registration].
3 Tap [Deregistration].
4 Tap [Thermostat] ® [OK].
Using the app to control your thermostats
1 From the [Home Network] app home screen, tap [Controlled Devices].
2 Tap [Thermostat].
3 Select the desired device.
4 Set each item as desired.
Note:
R For information about thermostat settings, refer to the operating instructions included with your
thermostat.
R Some modes and features supported by your thermostat may not be supported by this system.
