2 If you set a remote access code, enter the code.
3 Follow the voice guidance prompts as necessary or operate the answering system using remote
commands ( “Remote commands”, Page 99).
4 When finished, hang up.
Standard remote access
You must set the remote access code in order to use standard remote access ( “[Remote Code] setting”,
Page 102).
1 Dial your home phone number from a touch-tone phone.
2 After the greeting message starts, enter the remote access code.
3 Follow the voice guidance prompts as necessary or operate the answering system using remote
commands ( “Remote commands”, Page 99).
4 When finished, hang up.
Note:
R If you do not press any dial keys within 10 seconds after a voice guidance prompt, the answering
system disconnects your call.
Model information
Voice guidance during answering system remote operation is not available for the following hub model
numbers.
– KX-HNB600FX (voice guidance is not available when [Country / Region] is set to Č[Česká
republika], [Slovensko], or [Other])
