12.1 Recording paper jam
12.1.1 When the recording paper has jammed
inside of the unit
The display will show the following:
– “PAPER JAMMED”
L
“OPEN REAR COVER”
“OPEN FRONT COVER”
Caution:
R Do not pull out the jammed paper forcibly.
Important:
R Pull the standard input tray (A) until it clicks into
place, then pull it completely out, lifting the front
part of the tray.

Case 1: When the recording paper has jammed near
inside the unit, near the bottom.
1. Push down the indentation (A) and release the
bottom cover.

2. Remove the jammed paper (A).
A
R The jammed paper may be fit to the bottom of the
unit.
3. Close the bottom cover until it locks into place.
Important:
R Make sure that the bottom cover is completely
closed.
