Why is w flashing? L The handset is too far form the base unit. Move closer.
L The base unit’s AC adaptor is not connected. Check the
connections.
L The handset registration is cancelled. Register the handset to
the base unit using the following method.
1 {j/OK}
2 {v}/{e}: “SETTING HS”

3 {v}/{e}: “REGISTRATION”
i {>}
4 {v}/{e}: “REGISTER HS”
i {>}
5 Press and hold {x} on the base unit for about 5 seconds.
L If all registered handsets start ringing, press {x} to stop,
then start again from step 1.
L The rest of the procedure must be completed within 4
minutes.
6 {v}/{e}: Select a base unit number.

7 Wait until “BS PIN” is displayed.
i Enter the base unit PIN
(default: “0000”).

L If you forget your PIN, contact your nearest Panasonic
service centre.
L When the handset has been registered successfully, w
stops flashing.
L If w is still flashing, start again from step 1.
