Recording
• Refer to P100 for details.
• Refer to P88, 90 for details.
• It is recommended that this feature be left on, to minimize the possibility of pictures with poor
focus.
• [FOCUS PRIORITY] is disabled during motion picture recording.
[AF/AE LOCK] [AE]/[AF]/[AF/AE]
[AF/AE LOCK HOLD]
This will set the operation of [Fn1] button when taking a picture
with fixed focus or exposure.
[OFF]: The focus and the exposure are fixed only while you
are pressing [Fn1]. (P100)
If you release [Fn1], AF/AE Lock is canceled.
[ON]: The focus and the exposure remain fixed even if you
release [Fn1] after pressing it.
If you press [Fn1] again, AF/AE Lock is canceled.
[DIRECT FOCUS
AREA]
[OFF]/[ON]
[FOCUS PRIORITY]
It will set so no picture can be taken when it is out of focus.
[OFF]: This gives priority to the best time to take a picture so
you can take a picture when the shutter button is
pressed fully.
[ON]: You cannot take a picture until the subject is brought
into focus.
[SHUTTER AF]
Set whether or not the focus is adjusted automatically when the
shutter button is pressed halfway.
[OFF]/[ON]
