Choosing the Right Location
Transporting the appliance
If the appliance has to be transported
at a tilt, only tip it toward the water
container side but not more than 90
degrees.

The appliance must be carried by 2 or
more people.
Start by tilting the appliance backwards.
One person should stand behind it, holding
the rear of the top panel. The other person
should grip the bottom feet in the front.
Caution
If the appliance has not been
transported as described, then it
must be left to stand for at least
1 hour before it is connected to an
electricity supply.
Otherwise, the heat pump could be
damaged.
The right place for the
appliance
Make sure that there is enough space for
the appliance and that openings on the
base are not obstructed by a carpet.

You need a space at least 60 cm wide. At
least 2 mm of clearance on the sides, and
3 mm of clearance above the appliance
are required. (If you use the extended
water-drain hose, leave some space in the
rear for the hose so that it does not get
smashed down.)
Warning
The appliance must not be installed
behind a lockable door, a sliding
door or a door with a hinge on
the opposite side to that of the
appliance, in such a way that a full
opening of the appliance door is
restricted.
This will prevent children from being
locked in the drum.
Caution
- Do NOT install the appliance in
direct sunlight, or in a place where
temperatures reach freezing or are
excessively high.
- The cool air intake panel on the
front of the appliance must not be
blocked or covered, for example,
by a laundry basket, as this might
cause a malfunction
