Vegetables
Certain varieties of potato are more suited to
microwave ovens than others. For microwave
cooking or combination cooking, the ideal
weight of the potato is 200g - 250g. Jacket
potatoes cook more quickly in the microwave
mode than in the combination cooking mode,
but they are softer. On the other hand,
combination cooking makes for a drier, crispier
texture. After cooking, if you want to brown
your potatoes further, use the GRILL mode
(see the table below)

Before cooking
Wash the potatoes and pierce the skin in
several places. Place the potatoes on the
edges of the glass tray.
After cooking
Remove the potatoes from the oven and cover
them in aluminium foil to keep them hot. Allow
to stand for 5 minutes.
