First wipe the disc (DVD-A / DVD-V / VCD / CD) with a wet cloth,
then with a dry cloth.

If available, use the optional DVD-RAM/PD disc cleaner (LF-K200DCA1)
to clean the DVD-RAM / DVD-R.
Do not use clothing or other disc cleaners.
Problem caused by a disc

Do not stick labels on the disc (this might render the disc useless).

Only use a suitable pen for writing on the disc.

Do not insert cleaning discs into the appliance.
!
Do not play discs with any glue from stickers still on them.
!
Do not play cracked discs.
!
Do not play warped or irregularly shaped discs.
Cassette erasure protection
Break out the erasure protection tab to protect
the cassette against accidental erasure of
recordings you wish to keep. Stick adhesive tape
over the gap if you wish to re-record a protected
cassette.

We recommend to use branded, e.g. Panasonic, cassettes of superior quality.
Whenever not in use, remove the cassettes from the recorder and keep them in a
cover.
For recordings always try to make full use of the entire tape.
To prevent the tape froms sustaining untimely wear and tear, do not re-use the
same tape section for several recording sessions.
To prevent the cassette from sustaining damage, employ due care while inserting
it into the video recorder.
Protect the cassettes against humidity or heat.
Do not expose the cassettes to dust.
Directly dispose of defective cassettes without trying to repair them.
Never open the cassette's housing.
Do not open the protective front flap.
Never touch the recording tape.
Remote control codes
For TV set control change the remote
control unit's code.
Press and hold TV Stand-by.
Enter the two-digit code of your TV set Try a
different code if your TV set does not respond
correctly.
You will have to re-enter the code when replacing
the batteries.
