This unit can receive programmes transmitted together with NICAM sound. NICAM is a

digital sound system featuring two audio channels that can be set to either two-channel

stereo sound or two separate mono channels (M1 and M2).

Press MENU

Select Tuning , press ENTER to confirm

Select Manual, press ENTER to confirm

Select the channel , press ENTER to confirm

Mono to ON or OFF

Date and time are usually set by a TV station transmitting the relevant signal. Otherwise

you have to manually set date and time.

Menu language

Press MENU

Select Language

Press EXIT to quit the Menu screen

The language set for the Video menu does not depend on the DVD SETUP menu

Select Clock set , press ENTER to confirm

Select MANUAL , press ENTER to confirm

Set Time/Date with or ...

Press ENTER to store

Press EXIT to quit the menu screen

OFF: Records stereo sound.

ON : Used during NICAM programmes to record normal (mono) sound on the Hi-Fi

audio tracks or if the stereo sound is bad.
