∫ Capturing and Displaying a Sequence of 9 Still
Pictures (Multi Image Strobe 1 Mode)
This function captures and displays a sequence of 9 still
pictures over approximately 1.5 seconds. This is very
convenient for motion analysis of sports action, animal
studies, etc.
The Playback Multi Image Function can be used only when
the TBC Function is activated. Make sure that the [TBC]
Indication is displayed. (l 64)
Set the Multi-Picture Mode before performing the
following steps. (l 138)
≥The [MULTI] Indication appears.
1 Press the [MENU] Button.
2 Turn the [34] Dial to select [PLAYBACK
FUNCTIONS] and then press the [SET] Button.
≥The [PLAYBACK FUNCTIONS] Sub-Menu appears.
3 Turn the [34] Dial to select [MULTI] and then
press the [SET] Button to select [STROBE1].
4 Press the [MENU] Button to exit the menu.
5 Start playback, and when you reach the scene
that you want to capture and display in the
Strobe Multi-Picture Mode, press the [MULTI]
Button.
≥A sequence of 9 still pictures is displayed and the tape
stops.
Making the Multi-Pictures Disappear
Press the [MULTI] Button.
Displaying the Multi-Pictures Again
Press the [MULTI] Button for more than 2 seconds.
≥The quality of the pictures displayed in the Multi-Picture
Mode is slightly inferior.
≥The Sepia or Black & White Modes cannot be used for the
displayed 9 still pictures (even though these indications may
appear).
