Before Requesting Service Check the following points if you are having trouble with your DECK. Power Correction No power… • Completely insert Power Plug into an AC outlet. • Set POWER button to on. • Make sure power source is active. Power turns itself off... • Auto power-off (shutoff) occurs after about 5 min. in DVD mode with no operation, or if there is no broadcast signal in TV or Playback mode. Turn the power back on. Check the following points if you are having trouble with your DECK. DVD/ Video CD/ CD Correction Play fails to start even when PLAY is pressed... • This DECK cannot play discs other than DVDs, Video CDs and CDs. • The disc may be dirty and require cleaning. Play starts but then stops immediately... • Be sure disc is installed with label side up. Picture is distorted during rapid advance or rapid reverse... • The picture will be somewhat distorted at times: this is normal.

Fonction de verrouillage du DVD Il est possible de bloquer le visionnement de certains DVD non recommandables pour de jeunes auditoires. • Certains DVD sont codés pour la protection de certains publics sensibles. Si le niveau de protection autorisé est plus élevé que celui que vous avez préréglé, la lecture sera impossible. Verrouillage DVD (DVD seulement) Il faut entrer un code à 4 chiffres pour pouvoir visionner un programme verrouillé ou pour changer les réglages de restriction.

Configuration avec signal d’essai Cette fonction permet d’effectuer le réglage de l’équilibre de sortie des enceintes. En commençant par l’enceinte avant gauche, un signal est émis sur les enceintes dans le sens horaire. Pendant l’émission du signal, régler le niveau de sortie sur l’enceinte de canal centre et sur les enceintes ambiophoniques (D/G).
