Connecting the speakers Confirm the colors of the tags on the ends of the cords. Twist the vinyl tip and pull off. White Connect cords so tag colors match the terminal colors. Blue Black ≥Never short-circuit positive (i) and negative (j) speaker wires. ≥Be sure to connect only positive (copper) wires to positive (i) terminals and negative (silver) wires to negative (j) terminals. Incorrect connection can damage the speakers.
