Playing still pictures
Useful functions during still picture play
Start Slideshow ..... Zoom out
You can display still pictures one by one at a constant interval.
BD-RE, DVD-RAM
oWhilethe"AlbumView'screen,sd,splayed
Press [A, T, <, I_] to select the album and press [SUB MENU].
......................@ Press [A, T] to select "Start Slideshow" and press [OK].
eYou can also start slideshow by pressing [1_ PLAY] after selecting
the album.
DVD-R/R DL, CD-R/RW, SD card
(_ While the "Picture View" screen is displayed
Press [SUB MENU].
@ Press [A, T] to select "Start Slideshow" and press [OK].
To stop slideshow
Press [==STOP].
Slideshow settings
After performing step _) in "Start Slideshow" above,
@ Press [A, T] to select "Slideshow Setting" and press [OK].
(_) To change the display interval
Press [A, T] to select "Display interval" and press [4, I_] to
select the interval ("Normal", "Long" or "Short").
eWhen a still picture with a large number of pixels is played, the
display interval may become longer. Even if the setting is
changed, the display interval may not become shorter.
To set display method
Press [A, T] to select "Transition Effect" and press [4, I_] to
select "Fade", "Motion" or "Random".
"Fade": Pictures are changed by fading out and fading in.
"Motion": Pictures are changed by fading out and fading in,
while it is enlarged, reduced, or moved up or down.
"Random": In addition to "Motion", pictures are changed by
various methods.
To repeat slideshow
Press [A, T] to select "Repeat Play" and press [4, I_] to select
"On" or "Off".
To listen to Background Music
Music files on an iPod or a music CD can be played back as
Background music during the slideshow.
Press [A, T] to select "Soundtrack" and press [4, I_] to select
"On" or "Off".
eYou cannot search or skip the music.
eWhen the slideshow stops, playback of the music also stops.
e_back of the music files will be in the following order:
rPFi_:Order of "Music list" display in repeat mode.
iPod: The music files will be played back in repeat mode.
eWhen both a music CD and an iPod is inserted to this unit, the
iPod has a priority to be played back as Background Music.
@ Press [A, T, 4, I_] to select "Set" and press [OK].
This function is only available for small-sized still pictures.
(_ While playing (except for slideshows)
Press [SUB MENU].
@ Press [A, T] to select "Zoom out" and press [OK].
•To cancel "Zoom out", press [A, T] to select "Zoom in" in step @
and press [OK].
eThe zoom-out information will not be stored.
BD-RE, DVD-RAM
To switch to another higher folder
(Only if there is a multiple number of higher folders recognizable)
(_ While the "Album View" screen is displayed
Press [SUB MENU].
@ Press [A, T] to select "Select Root folder" and press [OK].

Press [4, I_] to select the higher folder and press [OK].
DVD-R/R DL, CD-R/RW
(_ While the "Picture View" screen is displayed
Press [SUB MENU].
@ Press [A, T] to select "Select Folder" and press [OK].

Press [A, T] to select a folder and press [OK].
The "Picture View" screen for the folder appears.
While playing
Press [STATUS] twice.
e.g., JPEG on DVD-RAM
Shooting date
(_ While playing (except for slideshows)
Press [SUB MENU].
@ Press [A, T] to select "Rotate Right" or "Rotate Left" and press
[OK].
eThe rotation information will be stored until the unit is turned off or
the media is removed.
To exit, press [STATUS].
