Open the lens cover before turning the unit on. (l 12)
1 Change the mode to and
open the LCD monitor.
2 Press the recording start/stop
button to start recording.
When you begin recording,

While recording is in progress, the recording
will not stop even if the LCD monitor is closed.

Press the recording start/stop
button again to pause recording.

(When the remaining time is less than
1 minute, [R 0h00m] flashes red.)
C Recording time elapsed
Each time the unit is put into recording
pause, the counter display will be reset
to “0h00m00s”.
(“h” is an abbreviation for hour, “m” for
minute and “s” for second.)
Still pictures can be recorded while
recording the motion picture. (l 45)
The images recorded between pressing
the recording start/stop button to start
recording and pressing it again to pause
recording become one scene.
The scene is automatically divided when
the recorded data exceeds 1.9 GB. (The
recording will continue.)
