Recording does not
start although power is
supplied to this unit and
the SD card is correctly
inserted.
≥ Has the SD card’s write protect switch been set to
[LOCK]?
> No recording is possible while the write protect switch is

≥ Is the SD card’s memory full?
> If the card has no more available memory, free up some
memory by copying some scenes to a PC (P80) and then
deleting unnecessary scenes. (P62)
≥ Is the unit set to the motion picture recording mode or
still picture recording mode?
> No recording is possible unless the mode dial is at

≥ Is the card cover open?

into focus in auto focus mode?
