VIERA Touch Pad Controller The Touch Pad Controller is designed to facilitate TV operation, such as when accessing Home Screen or the Browser with the Touch Pad and free pointing system. Do not scratch the surface of the liquid crystal shutter with a pointed instrument etc. Doing so may cause damage to the 3D Eyewear, and reduce the quality of the 3D image. Cautions during viewing Do not use devices that emit strong electromagnetic waves (such as cellular phones or personal transceivers) near the 3D Eyewear.
Registration First registration Perform the first registration when the 3D Eyewear is used for the first time. Turn the TV on Press the button for about 1 second to turn the power on. The lamp lights for about 2 seconds and then flashes. The 3D Eyewear will be turned on and start registration. Place the 3D Eyewear within 1.6 ft (50 cm) from the TV while registration in progress.
