Before Calling for Service

The touch
panel does
not respond
to touch.
Is there any device
emitting strong electric
wave?
When the touch panel receive strong electric wave,
it may become irresponsive to avoid false detection.
Keep the source of the electric wave as far as
possible from the touch panel.

Is anything nearby
(generators, motors,
etc.) generating strong
noise?
Strong external noise can cause the microcomputer
inside the touch panel to malfunction, therefore keep
noise sources as far away as possible.

The touch
panel does
not work.
Is the USB cable
connecting the touch
panel and computer?
Connect the USB cable. 7
Is the device driver
installed?
Check that the device driver has been installed. If it
hasn’t, install it.

If there are multiple
USB ports on your
computer, is the USB
port which used for
the device driver
installation in use for
the connection?
Change the connection with the USB port which
used for the device driver installation.
Alternately, install the device driver again using
the USB port where the touch panel is currently
connected.

Is the click mode on?
Start up a setup tool by selecting [Start] - [All
Programs] - [UPDD] - [Settings].
Select “Click Mode” from the left fi eld and select a
mode according to your usage from the right fi eld.

Is the touch panel
recognized by the
computer?
Start up a setup tool by selecting [Start] - [All
Programs] - [UPDD] - [Settings].
If “Panasonic. ZXY100” is displayed in red on the
upper left corner of the UPDD console window,
the touch panel is not recognized by the computer
correctly.

Has the touch panel
been calibrated?
Calibrate the touch panel. 15
Was the computer to
connect changed?
When the computer to connect is changed, touch
position may become misaligned with the cursor
position.
Perform calibration.
