Screensaver (For preventing image retention)
These functions prevent the occurrence of an “image retention” on the display when turned ON.
Wobbling: Automatically shifts the display image (therefore unnoticeable to the eye) to prevent image retention of
sharper contour of image.
On1: Shifts the image every 30 seconds.
On2: Shifts the image at a dot level pitch depending on screen-detection.
Peak limit: Suppresses image contrast (peak brightness).
Note:
When a still picture is viewed for an extended time, the screen may become slightly darker. (see page 43)
Press to select “Wobbling” or “Peak limit”.
Press to select “On1”, “On2” or “Off” (Wobbling).

Reduces screen image retention
Side Panel Adjustment
Do not display a picture in 4:3 mode for an extended period,
as this can cause an image retention to remain on the side
panels either side of the display eld.
To reduce the risk of such an image retention, illuminate the
side panels.

Press to select Off, Low, Mid, High.
Press to exit from Screensaver.

Notes:
To reduce the occurrence of image retention, set the Side panel to High.
The side panels may ash (alternate black / white) depending on the picture being shown on the screen. Using
Cinema mode will reduce such ashing.
