Audio Preference
(Auto / Multichannel / Stereo / MPEG)

Selectable options vary depending on the country you select.
Selects the initial setting for audio tracks.
Auto:
Automatically selects the audio tracks if a programme has two or more
tracks. The priority is given in the following order - Dolby Audio (Dolby
Digital Plus), HE-AAC, Dolby Audio (Dolby Digital, Dolby AC-4), MPEG.
Multichannel:
The priority is given to multi-channel audio track.
Stereo:
The priority is given to stereo (2ch) audio track.
MPEG:
The priority is given to MPEG.

Dolby Audio (Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby AC-4) and Dolby
Atmos are the methods of coding digital signals developed by Dolby
Laboratories. Apart from stereo (2ch) audio, these signals can be multi-
channel audio.

HE-AAC is a perceptual coding method used to compress digital audio for
efficient storage and transmission.
●
MPEG is an audio compression method that compresses audio to the
smaller size without any considerable loss of audio quality.
●
Dolby Audio (Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby AC-4), Dolby Atmos and HE-AAC
are the technologies for HD (High definition) programmes.

AV Sync
(On / Off)
Delays the video signal to adjusts the output timing difference between video
and audio outputs.
●
The output timing difference between video and audio outputs may not be
adjusted correctly depending on the input signal and audio device used.
●
Not valid in the following conditions:
– Input Lag is set to Fast.
– 1080p Pure Direct is set to On.
– 4K Pure Direct is set to On.
– 4K 120Hz Bypass Mode is set to On.
