DISC. PLEASE CHECK
FOR SCRATCHES OR
STAINS ON DISC.
The disc is scratched or dirty. Eject the disc and clean it. (l 119) If
there are scratches on the disc, use a new disc.
NO DATA. There are no images recorded on the disc or card.
INCOMPATIBLE DISC. You inserted an incompatible disc (copy-protected discs, etc.).
PLEASE CHECK THE
DISC.
You inserted a disc that cannot be read on this unit (a disc recorded
in an incompatible data format etc.).
FOR BEST
PERFORMANCE
PANASONIC DISC IS
RECOMMENDED.
You inserted a disc that does not meet the DVD standard for quality
and performance so you may not be able to record normally. Refer
to the following support site for information about discs that have
been confirmed as compatible by Panasonic.

MODE.
The AGS function is activated. (l 137)

(THIS DISC IS FINALIZED)
A finalized DVD-RW (Video format) or DVD-R has been inserted.
After finalizing, the discs become play-only and cannot record. If you
un-finalize a DVD-RW (Video format), it can be used for recording.

IS FULL.
The disc is full or the number of scenes has reached the maximum
limit so no further data can be recorded. Delete unnecessary scenes
(l 162) or insert a new disc.
CANNOT RECORD. THE
NUMBER OF SCENES HAS
EXCEEDED THE MAXIMUM
LIMIT.
INTERNAL TEMPERATURE
TOO HIGH. PLEASE TURN
UNIT OFF AND WAIT A
WHILE.
The temperature of the unit is high so it cannot be operated. Turn off
the power, wait until the unit cools and then turn on the power again.
FINALIZE THE DISC FOR
PLAYBACK ON OTHER
DEVICES.
If you insert a DVD-RW or a DVD-R disc recorded in this unit (that
has not been finalized) into another device such as DVD recorder,
computer, etc., the disc may become unusable. Be sure to finalize
the disc on this unit before inserting it in other devices.
CANNOT UN-FINALIZE
THIS DISC.
DVD-R cannot be un-finalized.
CHECK CARD. This card is not compatible or it cannot be recognized by the unit.
CARD LOCKED. The write protection switch on the SD card is set to LOCK. (l 118)
