UPnP AND DLNA
UIVERSAL PLUG AND PLAY (UPnP)
Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) technology targets home networks,
proximity networks and networks in small businesses and
commercial buildings. It enables data communication between
any two devices under the command of any control device on
the network. UPnP technology is independent of any particular
operating system, programming language, or network technology.
DIGITAL LIVING NETWORK ALLIANCE (DLNA)
You’ll find the DLNA Certified™ logo on all kinds of new digital
devices for your home and on the go – TVs, PCs, mobile phones, you
name it. But they aren’t the same TVs, PCs and mobile phones you’re
used to. They may look familiar, but they have new capabilities of
DLNA Device Classes.
