SPEED DIALS
From idle mode, calls can be placed to numbers stored in speed dials by sliding the
phone up, and pressing & holding the location number on the keypad.
1. Slide the phone up, press the Key [ MENU ], then press 1. Contacts ,
4. Speed Dials .
2. Highlight the desired Speed Dial position, or enter the Speed Dial digit(s), then
press the
Key [ SET ].
3. Select the desired Contact entry, then press the
Key.
4. Highlight the number you wish to set to speed dial then press the
Key.
5. “ ASSIGN SPEED DIAL TO CONTACT? ” appears on the screen. Select Yes and
press the
Key. A conrmation message appears.
“Unassigned” appears if the location is available.
TO ERASE A SAVED SPEED DIAL
1. Slide the phone up, press the Key [ MENU ], then press 1. Contacts ,
4. Speed Dials .
2. Select the Speed Dial entry you want to erase.
3. Press the Right Soft Key
[ Remove ].
4. “
REMOVE SPEED DIAL? ” appears on the screen. Select Yes and press the
Key. A conrmation message appears.
FAVORITE CONTACTS
Allows you to save your most frequently accessed contacts for quick access.
TO ASSIGN FAVORITE CONTACTS
1. Slide the phone up and press the Task Bar Key , swipe the Directional Key
left or right to scroll to FAVORITES , then press the OK Key. Or slide the phone
up, press the
Key [ MENU ], then press 1. Contacts , 5. Favorite Contacts .
Shortcut: From idle mode, slide the phone up, press the Favorites/Mode Change Key
.
2. Swipe the Directional Key left, right, up or down to select an empty eld,
then press the OK Key [
ASSIGN ].
3. Select the contact you want to assign, then press the OK Key [
MARK ].
4. Press the Left Soft Key
[ Done ].
TO VIEW FAVORITE CONTACTS
1. Slide the phone up and press the Task Bar Key , swipe the Directional Key
left or right to scroll to FAVORITES , then press the OK Key. Or slide the phone
up, press the
Key [ MENU ], then press 1. Contacts , 5. Favorite Contacts .
Shortcut: From idle mode, slide the phone up, press the Favorites/Mode Change Key
.
2. Swipe the Directional Key left, right, up or down to select a desired contact.
3. Press the Left Soft Key [ Messages ]. Or, press the Right Soft Key
[ Options ] to choose from the following:
• Remove: Removes a contact from Favorites.
• Remove All: Removes all contacts from Favorites.
4. Press the OK Key [ VIEW ].
TO ERASE FAVORITE CONTACTS
1. Slide the phone up and press the Task Bar Key , swipe the Directional Key
left or right to scroll to FAVORITES , then press the OK Key. Or slide the phone
up, press the
Key [ MENU ], then press 1. Contacts , 5. Favorite Contacts .
