Settings: Lets you scroll through and change the following settings:
White Balance: Auto / Daylight / Tungsten / Fluorescent
Effect: Off / Sepia / Negative / B&W.
Self Timer: Off / 5 secs / 10 secs.
Advanced Settings: Scroll to Advanced settings and press [
]
to select. Then choose from the settings below.
Quality: Low / Medium / High.
Size: 1280 x 1024 (only out focus) / 1024 x 768 (only out
focus) / 640 x 480 / 320 x 240 / 176 x 144 / 160 x 120.
Save Location: Phone / External Memory.
Shutter Sound: Default / Say “cheese” / Ready!123 / Off.
Timer Sound: Off / Default.
File Name: Select a name for the photo you want to capture.
NOTE: We recommend that you use the highest possible quality and
maximum possible picture size when sending messages. Your phone
will automatically convert any picture you take into a
format that is supported by most other picture messaging enabled
phones.
Additional camera settings
In the viewfinder screen you are able to instantly change more settings.
Zoom: Press (
/ ) to zoom in and out. This ranges from x1 to x10 by
Selected Size.
Brightness: Press (
/ ) to increase / decrease the brightness level.
This ranges from -2 to +2.
Managing your pictures
After taking your picture, press [Options] and choose from the following:
Send by: Lets you send this photo as a media message or via
Bluetooth.
NOTE: Sending megapixel images via a media message may take
some time. A quicker way to send a large picture is to download it to
your PC via the USB cable and CD-ROM supplied.
Set as Wallpaper: Select to set this photo as your wallpaper, replacing
the image currently on the standby screen.
Set Screensaver: Set this photo as your screensaver.
Delete: Select to delete the photo you have just taken.
Set for Contacts: Select to set this photo for a specific contact. When
the chosen contact calls, the image will be shown on your display.
Rename: Choose a name for this photo.
Properties: Provides information about this photo, such as the name of
the file, the date it was taken, the file size and the quality of the shot.
Video Camera
This function enables you to take a video using the built-in camera. The
video can be saved and sent with a multimedia message.
Press [Menu] Soft key, select 7.My Stuff, select 7. Tools, and then select 2.
Video Camera to enter your phone’s video record mode.
When you are ready to shoot your video clip press [
] to start recording.
The length of the video will be shown in the bottom left of the screen.
To stop recording press the [Stop].
Your video will be saved automatically to My Stuff – Video Album.
