Top tips for record videos
• If you receive an incoming call at the same time as recording a video
clip, your mobile will stop recording and save the clip.
• If you press the Right Soft Key during a recording, your mobile will
stop and save the video clip before returning to the standby screen.
• If you press [
] or the Left Soft Key during a recording, your video
will pause. To carry on recording, press [
] or the Left Soft Key again.
Using the video camera – the settings
Before you shoot your video clip you can make a number of choices
available from the [Options] menu.
• Record: Press [
] to start recording a video clip.
• Camera Mode: Select this to change from video camera to still camera
mode.
• My Videos: Select to look at your saved videos.
• Settings: Lets you scroll through and change the following settings:
• W/B: Auto / Daylight / Tungsten / Fluorescent
• Effect: Off / Sepia / Negative / B&W.
• Self Timer: Off / 5 secs / 10 secs.
• Advanced Settings: Scroll to Advanced settings and press [
]
to select. Then choose from the settings below.
•Quality: Low / Medium / High.
•Size: 96x64 (MMS) / 126x96 (MMS) / 176x144 (MMS) /
96x64 / 126x96 / 176x144.
•Sound Recording: On / Off
•Save Location: Phone / External Memory.
•Timer Sound: Off / Default.
•File Format: MP4 / 3GP / 3G2
•File Name: Change the name of your video.
NOTE: We recommend that you use the highest possible quality and
maximum possible picture size when sending messages. Your phone
mobile will automatically convert any picture you take
into a format that is supported by most other picture messaging
enabled phones.
Additional video settings
In the viewfinder screen you are able to instantly change more settings.
• Zoom: Press (
/ ) to zoom in and out. These settings range from x1
to x4.
• Brightness: Press (
/ ) to increase / decrease the brightness level.
The settings range from -2 to +2.
Managing your video clip
After taking your video, press [Options] and choose from the following:
• Send by: Enables you to send your video clip to someone else in a
media message or via Bluetooth.
• Delete: Select to delete the video clip you have just recorded.
• Play: Replay the video you have just shot.
• Rename: Select to give your video clip a new file name.
• Properties: Select to view information about your video clip, such as
size, date and quality.
