My phone’s name
This function allows you to edit the name of your phone. This is shown to
other Bluetooth devices in their searches.
Press the [Menu] Soft key, select 9. Settings, select 7. Connectivity,
select 3. Bluetooth, select 4. Settings and then select 2. My phone’s
name.
Security
The security settings enable you to restrict the use of your phone to
specific people and types of calls.
Codes and passwords are used to protect these features of your phone.
They are described in the following sections. See also 2. Access codes in
the Appendix, on page 84.
The security settings enable you to restrict the use of your phone to
specific people and types of calls.
Your phone’s security features keep your phone and SIM card safe from
unauthorized use. You can either set a password for your phone or use the
Call Barring service and Fixed Dialing mode to restrict which calls can be
made using your phone.
Press the [Menu] Soft key, select 9.Settings, and then select 8.Security.
Phone Lock
Deactivate all
This function allows you to lock your phone until the correct password is
input.
Press the [
] key after you type the password.
Change Password
This function allows you to change your phone’s password.
The default password is 1234.
PIN
PIN Lock
Press the scroll [
/ ] key and [ ] key for setup.
If you input the incorrect PIN1 code three consecutive times, you will be
prompted to input the PUK1 number. The default is Disabled.
Enabled: Input PIN1 whenever the power is turned on.
Disabled: Does not input PIN1 whenever the power is turned on.
Change PIN
Change the PIN1 number.
You can change the PIN1 number only when the phone is set for PIN1
Enable.
Change PIN2
This function allows you to change your phone’s PIN2 code.
FDN (Fixed Dialing Numbers)
Fixed Dialing is a service that limits your access to specific numbers in the
Address Book list recorded on the SIM. Input the PIN2 to set up or cancel
