2. Click Menu > Find a new Network.

3. Do one of the following:

• Select the network checkbox(es) you want to add. Then click Done.

• If you don't see the network you want, click [Menu] [Add] and select a network from the list.

Display your phone number

For a display of your phone number, the “Owner Number” selection from the settings page will display the

number.

1. From the Home screen, press the left soft key [Start] [All Programs] [More].

2. Select Settings and press OK.

3. Select [Phone] [More…] [Owner Number].

Service Dialing Numbers (SDN)

You can view the list of Service Dialing Numbers (SDN) assigned by your service provider. These numbers

include emergency numbers, customer service numbers and directory inquiries.

NOTE: This menu is available only when your SIM card supports Service Dialing Numbers.

Select TTY Mode

Your phone is able to operate with TTY (Teletypewriter) digital modes. This feature is system dependent and

may not be available in all areas.

1. From the Home screen, press the left soft key [Start] [All Programs] [More].

2. Select Settings and press OK.

3. Scroll to [Phone] [More…] [TTY Mode] and press OK.

4. Select TTY mode (Full, Talk, Hear, Off)

5. Press [Done].

Sounds

The Pantech C820 comes with a large standard set of ring tones and sounds. You can also add your own as

long as they are in the correct format.

Change or turn sounds on or off

Any sound can be toggled on or off at any time, or you can turn the phone’s sound off altogether.

NOTE: For ring tones, you can use sounds in .wav, .mid, mp3, or .wma file formats.

TIP: When you select a sound, it plays. To hear it again, select [Menu] [Play].

Delete a sound

You can only delete sounds that you have added. You cannot delete sounds pre-installed in the phone.

1. From the Home screen, press the left soft key [Start] [All Programs] [More].

2. Select Settings and press OK.

3. Scroll to Sounds and press OK.

4. Press [Menu] [Delete Sounds] and then OK.

5. Select the sound to delete.

6. Press Yes.

NOTE: You can only delete sounds that you have added. You cannot delete sounds pre-installed in the

phone.
