8. Troubleshooting

EER at Network
1 The error rate of the
received network signal
exceeds the currently
configured threshold. This
condition only occurs if the
network interface is
configured for ESF framing.
This condition clears when
the error rate falls below the
threshold value, which may
take up to 15 minutes.
Verify that the network cable is
securely attached at the
network interface.
Contact your network provider.
Ethernet Link Down The communication link for
the Ethernet port is down
and the Interface Status for
the port is enabled.
Check the LAN connected to the
Ethernet port.
Internal Modem Failed The unit’s internal modem
failed to pass the self-test.
Reset the FrameSaver unit (
Main
Menu
→
Control
→
Reset Device)
.
If the modem fails again, contact
your service representative.
ISDN Link Profile
Disabled

An ISDN backup call could
not be made because the

An ISDN network failure
was detected when a
backup call was in progress

mode.
Contact your network provider if
the problem persists.
