PD101 Gas Mask The PD101 Mask uses high quality medical grade silicon rubber compositions made with non-toxic, tasteless, and odorless materials. The mask is made to universally fit any size face to ensure a perfect airtight seal in any environment. In addition to its universal fit, the PD101 is designed for optimum comfort by using 5 individual straps to evenly distribute pressure around your face. The mask is professional grade quality with low breathing resistance.
Mask Installation 1. Extend all five straps and pull over your head to cover the face with the mask. 2. In order to properly tighten mask, begin with pulling the top strap snug and begin to work your way down, tightening the four other straps from top to bottom. 3. Ensure the two bottom neck straps feel secure around your neck. 4. Give the mask a gentle shake to ensure a good seal against your face.
Bayonet Filter Installation Instructions (3M Type) 1. Locate the grey threaded apparatus on the front of the gas mask interface. 2. Firmly grasp and turn the left and right apparatus in a counter clockwise rotation then pull directly off to remove the P-A-1 filter adapters. 3. Inspect the orange sealant ring beneath the apparatus to ensure the ring is not damaged and will seal properly on 3M filters. 4. Select the correct 3M filter in accordance to the requirements and chemicals of the work being performed.
