Disconnect the power before replacing the fuse. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet
device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord. Risk of  re. Do not remove or replace attachment plug. The plug
on the main rope light contains a safety device ( fuse). Discard the light if the attachment plug is damaged.
WARNING
1. Open fuse cover by sliding

2. One spare fuse is in the
plug. Turn fuse holder over to
remove spare.

3. Remove old fuse carefully.
Gently pry the metal end
nearest to the plug with a small
blade screwdriver to loosen,
then turn fuse holder over to
remove. Discard old fuse.

4. Replace old fuse with spare fuse.
Risk of  re: Replace fuse only with 5
Amp, 125-Volt fuse provided with the
product. Failure to do so may be a
re hazard.

5. Close fuse cover by sliding it on
top of attachment plug.

REPLACING THE FUSE
• Do not use if there is any damage to the rope light or power cord insulation. Inspect periodically.
• Wash hands after use. Handling the coating of this product exposes you to lead, a chemical known to the
State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm.
• Do not use chemical solvents or harsh abrasives to clean  xture. Use a dry soft cloth to clean if needed.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1) The light does not come on at all:
a) Make sure the wall switch and circuit breaker are on.
2) Fuse blows when light is turned on.
a) Shorten total extended length to 198 feet or less and replace fuse in plug.
If unable to  x any of the above issues, please consult a certi ed electrician.

ve (5) years from the date of original purchase, simply bring this lighting fi xture with your original sales receipt back to your nearest

retail store. At its discretion, PATRIOT LIGHTING

agrees to have the product or any defective part(s) repaired or
replaced with the same or similar PATRIOT LIGHTING
®
product free of charge, within the stated warranty period, when returned by
the original purchaser with original sales receipt. This warranty; (1) excludes expendable parts including but not limited to light bulbs;
(2) does not cover damage that has resulted from abuse or misuse; and (3) does not cover any losses, labor, injuries to persons/
property or costs. This warranty does give you specifi c legal rights and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
