INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

5. Align torsion springs with receiving brackets

inside of existing recessed housing (A) and

anchor to ceiling by pushing trim up until ush.

1. Remove existing light bulb and trim. Conrm that

the existing recessed housing’s inside diameter

is within the range of 5-1/8 in. minimum diameter

to 6-5/8 in. maximum diameter; and that it has a

minimum clearance height of 3-3/4 in.

2. LED Retrot Downlights are pre-set for use with 5

in. diameter housings. For housings with an inside

diameter greater than 5-1/2 in., go to step 3.

To set the torsion spring brackets for cans less

than 5-1/2 in. diameter, use a Phillips screwdriver

to loosen the screws on the brackets, then slide

each end in along slotted hole, and re-tighten

screws.

3. Screw medium base socket adapter (B) into

socket at top of existing recessed housing.

4. Push together connectors on the lead wires

of the LED Retrot (A) and the socket adapter

(B) until fully seated.
