ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (continued)
7. Take glass shade (E) and
gently slide the glass
shade (E) into the
frame (D) in place.Then
attach the finial (B) to the
bottom of the frame and
tighten it with a washer and
hexnut.
3. Attach the decorated cup (C)
and the rubber pad by
inserting the threaded pipe,
then tighten it with the
finial (B) .
4. Pull out the source wires from
the outlet box. Make wire
connections using wire
connectors(EE) as follows:
• Connect the hot wire
(usually black insulation)
from the fixture to the black
wire from the power source.
• Connect the neutral wire
(usually white insulation)
from the fixture to the white wire from the power
source.
• Attach the fixture grounding wire (usually green
insulation or bare wire) to the cross bar(AA) with the
green grounding screw (HH), and then connect it to
the house grounding wire with the wire connector(EE).
Carefully put all of the wires back into the outlet box.

6. Install a bulb(HH) (not
included). Check relamping
label at socket area or
packaging for maximum
allowed wattage.

CAUTION: With silicone
caulking compound,caulk
completely around where
the back plate meets with the wall surface to prevent
water from seeping into the outlet box.
5. Attach back plate (A) to the
cross bar(AA) by inserting
headless screws(CC) into
holes on back plate(A), and
then secure it with two
rubber pads(GG) and two
ball nuts(FF).

8. Remove the rubber pads and
ball nuts from the frame (D),
then attach the frame (D) to
the fixture (C) by inserting
the headless screw, then
tighten it with the rubber
pads and ball nuts.
