Problem
Probable Cause
Solution
Light comes on during the
daylight hours.
Light cycles ON and OFF
continuously (strobe light effect).
1. Dusk-to-dawn sensor is
detecting reflected light
from the security light.
1. Change the position of the light head.
Reposition light away from the reflecting surface.
2. Place a small piece of black electrical tape over
the bottom half of the dusk-to-dawn sensor.
3. Move the light to a different location where the
results are better.
1. Bad connection.
2. Faulty switch.
3. Power is off.
1. Fixture is located in a shaded
area; dusk-to-dawn sensor is
detecting darkness.
1. Check wiring connections.
2. Test switch or replace it.
3. Verify power supply is on.
1. Shine a light at the dusk-to-dawn sensor. If the security
light immediately shuts off, then the fixture is located
in an area that is too dark to allow enough light to
enter the sensor. The light will need to be relocated.
Circuit breaker trips or fuse blows
when light is turned on.
Discontinue use
immediately.
1. Call customer service at 303.652.6164.
2. Call an electrician.
WARNING: DO NOT alter or disassemble the fixture, it
is completely enclosed and does not contain
replaceable or serviceable parts.

2. Feed the supply wires through the
elongated hole in the mounting plate. Guide
the mounting post through the center hole of
the mounting plate (Fig. 3). Push the
mounting plate onto the mounting post until
flush with the surface (Fig. 4). The “UP” and
“arrow” need to be located at the top.
4. The light canopy fits onto the mounting plate in a specific manner (Fig. 8). Line
the holes and posts up and guide the light canopy onto the mounting plate
already attached to the junction box. There are also 3 contact pins that align and
will engage the terminal block on the mounting plate (Fig. 9).
3. Insert the Ground Wire into the
terminal marked “ ”, insert the Black
Supply Wire (Live) into the terminal
marked “ ”. Insert the White Supply
Wire (Neutral) into the terminal marked
“ ”(Fig. 6) and tighten screws to each
terminal (Fig. 7).
1. Pull the ends of the supply wires out the front
of the junction box. Fasten the crossbar to the
junction box as shown (Fig. 1 & 2). Works with
round, rectangular and square boxes, mounted
in any direction.

OPERATION
OPTIONAL
1. The light head can pivot a full 90°up
and down 90°. It can also rotate right or
left for a total of 180° to aim light in a
multitude of angles. There are two
stops located on the fixture neck that
prevent the light head from rotating
beyond 180°. Do NOT try to defeat this
feature. Rotating beyond the set range
could damage the wires and lead to an
unsafe situation.
5. Insert the machine screw through the center
hole in the mounting base and secure the fixture to the
junction box (Fig. 10). Restore the power to the junction
box. Make sure the wall switch that controls the electrical
box for your security light is returned to the “ON”position
and check that the light is functioning properly. If the light
functions properly, fit the round plastic cap into the the
center hole in the light canopy to prevent water from
seeping into the fixture housing (Fig. 11).
6. Use silicone seal/caulking (not included) to seal-off around the mounting plate and the mounting surface to add an additional barrier
to prevent water seepage into the electrical enclosure.
