Communications
Use this menu to check the communications port and cable. You need a
loopback plug for this test. The loopback plug can be purchased at your
local electronics store. See Appendix A, "Specifications" for cable pin-
out information.
Main Menu
To exit, press F at any time.
1. From the Diagnostics menu, select Comm.
Insert loopback
Plug into serial
Port connector.
Press key to cont.
2. Press any A to continue.
The serial port test is performed.

Testing speed: ok
Testing parity: ok
Testing CTRLS: ok
Press key to cont.
3. Follow the instructions on the display. When you are finished, you
return to the Diagnostics menu.
